Refund Policy

Reservation Paths provides independent travel assistance services. This Refund Policy explains when and how you may receive refunds for service fees paid to us, as well as important information regarding airline, cruise, or travel provider refunds — which we do not control.

⚠️ Important distinction – Service fees vs. travel costs

Reservation Paths charges service fees for the assistance we provide (phone support, research, modifications, cancellations, etc.). We are not an airline, cruise line, or travel provider. We cannot issue refunds for airline tickets, cruise bookings, hotel stays, or car rentals. Any refund for those travel products must be requested directly from the respective airline, cruise line, or travel company according to their own refund policies.

1. Refunds for Service Fees (Paid to Reservation Paths)

When you pay a service fee to Reservation Paths for travel assistance (e.g., consultation, booking support, change assistance), the following applies:

  • Before we begin active work: If you cancel your assistance request before we have started any work (research, calls, form submissions), you may request a full refund of any prepaid service fee within 24 hours of payment.
  • After assistance has been provided: If we have already provided support (e.g., researched options, contacted an airline on your behalf, helped modify a reservation), service fees are generally non-refundable because the work has been performed.
  • Dissatisfaction or unresolved issues: If we fail to provide the agreed‑upon assistance due to our error, we may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion. Please contact us within 7 days.

2. Airline, Cruise, Hotel, or Car Rental Refunds

Reservation Paths does not issue refunds for travel products (flights, cruises, hotels, car rentals). We are an independent assistance provider, not a travel seller. Refund eligibility for airline tickets, cruise fares, or any other travel booking is determined solely by the airline, cruise line, hotel, or rental company’s own refund and cancellation policies.

We can help you understand those policies and, if you authorize us, assist you in contacting the travel provider to request a refund. However, the final decision rests with the travel provider. We cannot guarantee any refund from third parties.

3. Cancellation of Assistance Request

If you decide not to proceed with our assistance after initial contact but before any substantial work is performed, you may cancel without penalty. Any service fee paid will be refunded within 10 business days. Once we have started the assistance process (e.g., call with airline, research, document preparation), the fee becomes non‑refundable because our time and resources have been committed.

4. How to Request a Refund (Service Fees)

To request a refund of a service fee paid to Reservation Paths, please contact us with your full name, phone number used for assistance, date of payment, and reason for request. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original payment.

Refund process: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take additional time to appear on your statement.

5. Non‑Refundable Circumstances

  • Service fees for completed assistance (successful or not) where we acted diligently on your behalf.
  • Any airline, cruise, or travel provider fees or penalties imposed by the travel provider.
  • Change fees or cancellation penalties charged by airlines or cruise lines — these are separate from our service fees.
  • Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after payment.
  • Cases where the travel provider refuses a refund due to their own policy (e.g., non‑refundable fare).

6. Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us first before initiating a chargeback. If you dispute a charge with your bank without first giving us the opportunity to resolve the issue, we may be limited in our ability to assist. We will provide evidence of services rendered to your financial institution as needed.
